Never underestimate the power of a stubborn witch.
Bianca Monroe wants one thing: to create a Sisterhood of Protectors.
She might be the only one that thinks it's a good idea.
With demigods in Alkarra, and a frustrated Council attempting to usurp her father, Bianca is faced with opposition on every side. When her desire to defend the Central Network with a Sisterhood is rebuffed by everyone whose support she thought she’d have, she’s forced to find a new path.
Meanwhile, the influence of god magic grows in Alkarra. Wonky magic, strangers in the land, and crumbling Network ties abound.
Will Bianca assemble the support she needs to defend the Network from this unknown enemy?
Or will she find the strength to forge her own path?
THE RISE OF THE DEMIGODS is the second book in THE NETWORK SAGA. Fans of beloved, award-winning NETWORK SERIES will be swept back into the world of Alkarra, where magic abounds and enemies are now fast at hand.
Wow, what a ride! Katie has done it again, I think this is her best yet. Bianca (little trouble maker) is at it again, proving to herself and everyone else just what she’s made of when she realizes the future of the sisterhood. This book has twists and turns that leaves you wanting more. Great job Katie!
First off I have to say that I absolutely loved this book. All the twists and turns and pure Bianca chaos! Second…. I love Katie’s narration. I feel like she brings the perfect images to life of the characters that she herself created! It is wonderful! Now I must go… I have another book to listen to!
Children of the gods are on the loose! But, so is Bianca Monroe, daughter of The Highest Witch! By now you have read the story of the last 5 years of her life. The action will have you on the edge of your seat. If you're a mushy sap like me then there will be plenty of tears too. Katie's creativity and ability to put you right there in the story never ceases to amaze me. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it
This was definitely a cleverly-written story. Bianca is at the center again, making plans - not getting things quite right - changing plans - I'm not going to say whether she gets any right! The Demigods bring in a whole new factor of whether any of them are good or all are evil. I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook narrated by the author.
I am so thrilled with this book! Sometimes as series continue they get more predictable but this is not the case with the network saga! I don’t want to give any spoilers but seriously you have to read this book (and the series) you just have to.
