Bianca, is the daughter of the newly appointed High Priest Derek. After imprisoning Mabel in the castles dungeon, the network has to fight her mother Angelina.
She has been hiding in plain sight all along. No one can defeat Angelina's dark magic, except her own daughter.
Bianca is still getting a rein on her increasing powers.
And the story gets more action packed! I love all the twists and turns this book came with! Fun to read. Thank you Katie for telling us more of this amazing Alkarra!
Bianca, is my kind of hero, she is kickass and passionate, fiercely loyal and makes decisions from the heart. No matter the trials and horrors that befall her, she never gives up. This novel is a fully rounded story in an incredibly constructed world. Katie's characters are never shallow, they have layers, I'm a fan, live Katie's writing.
I read this as part of the Network Series Collection. so I will copy that review here also. The stories had me spellbound from beginning to end. Bianca with her inherited curse. Friends she makes. An evil teacher. Danger. Death. Powers. A dangerous enemy. A gorgeous Protector. A love between father and daughter. A kidnapping. More death and a battle to the end. Very highly recommended series. Loved it.
Wow! The Network Series builds in intensity and excitement. The characters and plot have such depth. Katie Cross is an excellent world-builder and story teller. She had me on the edge of my seat the whole time!
