Love this extra stories! It’s a great read if you’ve read the previous books!
Lovely stories about the girls and the guys they hook up with. Stories also include Letum Woods, fights, the trials to get into the guardians and leaves off with Merrick and Bianca called into the high Priestess office but what for. At the end you get a hint of the new series “Flame”. Katie Cross is one of the best authors I have read and I can’t put her books down until I literally can’t read anynmore.
The book gave insight to various major characters of the Network Series, before the timeline of the series. It's fascinating to get the background on the people, from when they were young. I especially liked the history of Miss Scarlett, and the romance of Marie and Derek. Be advised, the stories won't mean much until you've read The Network Series. But after you finish, they will add depth and appreciation of the characters. Also, if you enjoyed the series, sign up for Katie's newsletter. She posts short excerpts that didn't make the cut for the series. They also give more depth to the characters.
