Sanna and Isadora are back.
Isadora Spence knows one thing for certain:
She loves Maximillion Sinclair.
But when Max brings her to Wildrose Manor as his wife, Isadora quickly realizes that love does not answer every question. Their handfasting may be real, but marriage asks more of them than longing, loyalty, or shared history ever has.
Not all is as it seems at Wildrose Manor.
And soon, Isadora must face the most frightening question of all:
Is love enough?
When she asks for three months to decide whether to stay handfasted, Max immediately agrees. He adores Isadora, but saying the words aloud is not easy. Admitting his love would require vulnerability, honesty, and a kind of surrender he is not sure he knows how to give.
If Max cannot tell Isadora he loves her, will she stay?
Meanwhile, Sanna Spence is back in the forest with her bonded forest dragon, Luteis.
Her new life as a blind witch is far more overwhelming than she expected. The forest may be familiar, but everything else has changed—her body, her magic, her independence, her future, and the way she understands the world around her.
Luteis is determined to keep her safe.
But Sanna does not only need protection.
She needs to learn how to live again.
As both sisters step into the life waiting after the old world has changed, they must face love, sisterhood, vulnerability, healing, and the terrifying possibility that surviving the past was only the beginning.

Excellent series for young adults or adults. It holds interests.
Read the Dragon Master Trilogy First. The Sister Witches 1 will make more sense and give you context.
All that being said, this book is cleverly written and makes you feel like you are right there at Wildrose and Letum Wood.
You will feel the tension and fear of Isadora as she admits her love for Max. You will wonder as you expect to be burned when Sanna touches Luteis.
Be prepared to be sucked in!
We’ve met Isadora and Sanna before… and now, we truly begin to see them grow into the witches we met in the Network series… it’s always interesting to see how beloved characters begin and grow… and if you haven’t met Isa and Sanna… what are you waiting for?!
Thank you Katie for this new set of books! Can’t wait to see the twists and turn they will go through…
This story was so rewarding and fulfilling to be back in the lives of Sanna and Isadora from the Dragonmaster world. Discovering the trials Sanna deals with due to her new circumstances. As well as finding out the developments in Maximillion’s and Isadora’s relationship. I am so looking forward to experiencing more of Sanna’s and Isadora’s lives. I am impatiently awaiting book 2. This book should be read after the Dragonmaster Trilogy and reading the Advocate give you great background as well. It was great to take this journey with these characters that I love.
