All of Katie Cross's books are fun to read and this book, The Finakes, was no exception. It fills in the blanks within the entire series. Loved it!
Have you ever had an author that you enjoy reading yet you finish the book and know that you will have to wait a year or more to find the answers? Katie Cross is both prolific and writes short stories and novella's to answer many of the questions you may have had. This novella takes all of the characters who had major parts and follows them to at least a understanding of what their thoughts and ideas were. It isn't an end just a new chapter in many of their lives.
What a treat! This book gives you stories from other beloved characters perspective of what was happening with them during the battle. You get to experience all their contributions and revelations. This book is a must to get more answers on what happened. You won’t be disappointed.
These stories answer questions you may have from the Network Saga, AND leaves more questions, typical Katie. You will love these background stories about some of our favorite people from a different perspective. As with all Katie’s books, you will cheer and you’ll need tissues. Don’t miss these stories.
When you get different points of view or more insight on certain events, it makes the stories even better! Though we get some closure on some stories and characters, the story of Alkarra is not over… and I am so glad for that! Hahaha
