Katie has once again crammed so much into one novel, her writing is rich, engaging and addictive. I love how the words she weaves grab and swisk me into Alkarra. I feel and experience everything with the characters as they are challenged in this magical epic world. It left me spent, sated yet wanting more. And the bonus story is one, again I didn't know i needed until I had experienced it.
